  • About Dasa – A Taste of Korean Tea Culture

Located in the historic streets of Haenggung-dong, Suwon, DASA is more than a tea house – it is an invitation to experience Korean tea that feels both authentic and warmly familiar.

In Korean, “DASA (茶私)” means both “tea” (茶) and “personal, heartfelt moments” (私). Every cup here is prepared in that spirit – a blend of tradition, care, and the joy of sharing.

We source teas from Korea’s renowned regions, such as Hadong, Boseong, and Jeju, as well as select varieties from China, Taiwan, and Japan. Each tea is carefully chosen through extensive tasting, so that every sip carries the story of its origin.

Our space is designed to be welcoming and unpretentious – a place where locals and travelers alike can relax, connect, and discover the diverse flavors of Korean tea culture. Whether you are a lifelong tea lover or new to the world of tea, DASA offers an experience that makes you feel right at home.

  • A Message from Tea Master Seul Bi Lee–

“Lately, I feel that at DASA, tea is simply a good excuse. What truly matters is the person sitting in front of me. At first, people gathered around the idea of tea, but now it feels as if tea has become a medium for meeting people. This, to me, beautifully connects with the Korean spirit of “Jeong(情)”—the warmth of genuine human connection.”— Tea Master, Seul Bi Lee
